Feast On These Fucking Scraps ~2009~ Free Album Download

So, it's 2009 and I'm still making music. I don't really chase the dream much anymore as I just don't seem to have enough of that special "it" factor to draw any serious attention. But I still make this stuff, because it's a part of who I am - I'll probably never be able to stop making music - this is after all my never ending audio diary.

This time around friend and fellow MC Point Game has once again joined me (the two of us recorded an album in early 2008 titled Conceited Humility). While we weren't able to invest the same kind of time (for an assortment of different reasons) we put into Conceited Humility - we made the best of what we could manage. And in all honesty, I think there are some great songs featured on this brief collection.

A lot of FEAST's production is ugly, a lot of the mixing is mediocre - but the truth remains in each song. We're still here to be honest, and we're still shedding light on the darker side of life.

As i read this I see you state you don't hate the IT factor to get attention. I disagree...I think you can make, you might not make millions, but you can at least make something. The issue is constant, and I do mean grinding, soul crushing (think world of warcraft) like grinding, and constant promotion, and more promotion. We have cats in L.A that suck on the mic, but draw a crowd because they release albums every 3-6 months, do the hand to hand promotion, get shows every week, and collab with everyone, even paying bigger artists to get on tracks. I see you doing alot of the same thing, but chasing the dream and grinding are 2 things you should NEVER give up on. I been doing this for 8 years, never got a record deal, never sold out a venue, but do 5-10K album sales a year and that brings me 30-40K like clockwork...its all about promotion, and talent 2nd. You see, to have both so try not to give up hope man, im almost 30 and still rocking it, as I am sure you are, but you CAN live off this, maybe not the super rich way, but you can...I am proof.
